Testimonials
"I am so blessed today that I have had the chance to train in this amazing art. Jujitsu has helped mold me into the person that I am today. Everyone here at TNT Jujitsu welcomed me in with open arms and helped me realize how important it is as a female, to be able to defend myself from unexpected encounters. I am more peaceful and more patient with things now and I am no longer afraid to walk around town alone. As a Program Director here at TNT Jujitsu, I am honored to be a part of something that helps changes others lives, as it did my own. Jujitsu has opened me up to a whole new world. A world of peace, knowledge, and compassion."
- Anhlee Nguyen (Program Director)
"I have been practicing martial arts for 16 plus years. Traditional jujitsu has been the most rewarding and challenging of all the arts I have taken. TNT is a wonderful dojo that allows me to grow, make mistakes and always focus on being better as a person and a martial artist. I am proud and happy to be part of TNT, to help teach, assist and constantly learn more about myself, this dojo and the infinite possibilities that exist within jujitsu. Being at TNT has taught me the value of commitment to something greater and more valuable than myself. I plan on being a member of TNT and a student of jujitsu for the rest of my life."

"TnT Jujitsu has brought me so many things that I consider to have impacted and changed my life for the better. Two main influences that I consider the most important are one, as a female I have been given the opportunity to empower myself and walk around with confidence in knowing I can feel safe and defend myself in any given situation. The second influence is knowing I can somehow guide other people in the same direction and especially with the youth and teens being able to teach them great life skills that will help them to stay on the right path as far as martial arts and as well as in life has been a reward in itself. I am grateful to be a part of something that can be such a postive influence in so many peoples lives!"
- Cynthia Lopez, 1st Degree Black Belt (Assistant Instructor)
"Training in Jujitsu has enabled me to control a situation rather than reacting uncontrollably and endangering myself or someone else. As an Assistant Instructor, I get to help students in their decision making, self-confidence, goal-setting, discipline, stress-relief, health, and personal safety."
-James Jackson, 1st Degree Black Belt (Assistant Instructor)
"When Brandon started training at TNT Jujitsu he was 11 years old. Sensei Torey told me that he would be a better teenager. Brandon is now 15 and is a solid young man. He is very polite and carries himself well. he has lots of confidence in himself and stays cool under pressure. He has tried things like, band solos and U.I.L. competitions that I didn't think he would have before. And his grades have improved too. Sensei Torey was right, he is a better teenager. Thank you Sensei Torey and the TNT Jujitsu staff.

"Jujitsu has changed my life, because I used to be shy and quiet. I didn't want to meet new people. Now I have new friends and I am not scared of anyone."
- Matthew Schneider (youth class)
"Ever since Bobby has taken Jujitsu, I've noticed significant changes in his daily routines. He has become more focused with school, more confidence in himself and more attentive to his family and peers. Bobby has since made A&B Honor Roll and became a more focused and studious individual. He is courteous and attentive to those around him. For example, he is displaying more chivalry in public places. Jujitsu has given him more confidence to overcome the fear of public speaking and confidence to express himself. Bobby can now confidently get in front of the class to give a presentation without much fear of the act itself. Bobby has been a reserved individual. I've recently noticed a few changes in respect. He has become more talkative and more expressive of his opinions and ideas. He is more open to giving ideas and opinions as well as taking them. At home, Bobby has taken on more chores and responsibilities around the house. Due to discipline of martial arts, he has taken upon himself to do the chores without being asked. My overall opinion of Jujitsu is that it has built a foundation for much of my son's confidence and boosts his self-esteem."

"I had wanted to learn some kind of martial arts for a long time now, but I had no idea how to find a good school that wasn’t just after my money. Then I was introduced to TNT Jujitsu, and it was just the place I was looking for. The teachers are all very knowledgeable and willing to help you if you have questions, and all the students that I work with are trustworthy people, and fun to hang around with. I do believe that I have become a better person by becoming a martial artist, and I am glad that TNT Jujitsu is there to provide this for me, and for anyone interested in joining."
- Phillip MacArthur (Adult Class)
"I’ve been a student at TNT Jujitsu for over a year, and I’ve never been so happy to be part of something. I find out something new about myself every class. I work full-time and go to school at night, and since I don’t have a car, I find myself often out alone after dark. Since I’ve started taking Jujitsu, I’ve become so much more aware of my surroundings, and confident in my ability to stand up for myself. I think every woman of every age should be able to feel this way."
-Laura L. (Adult Class)
I am currently a white belt here at TNT Jujitsu and a student at the University of St. Thomas. I have been attending the dojo since August of 2008 and ever since it has had a positive affect on me. It is not just for being able to execute holds and throws that I continue to return to this place, but also because of all the indirect benefits practicing jujitsu, particulary in a dojo such as TNT under great instructors, has for it's students. Surprisingly, I have seen myself appreciating taking jujitsu more for it mental rather than it's physical benefits. The relaxed and controlled state of mind needs to develop in order to perform the techniques has beeen appicable in other aspects of life, primarily in the way I interact with people and confront my problems. I have found myself being less and less taken control by my energy and unsing it in a constructive matter to resolve issues. Though the gift of physical flexibility and endurance the dojo gives susceptible to age and disease, the gift of a tranquil mind is something I will be able to take wherever I go. Here at TNT Jujitsu, they do teach more than kicking and throwing. They teach life skills! -Chris Dupree (Adult Class)
" TNT Jujitsu is awesome! My George Micah is loving it. His attitude has changed since he began 4 months ago. I can tell the difference and I appreciate all the staff there. They really care for the children. Thank you!
